Natural Confetti Options
The wedding season is well upon us and rose petals are a popular choice as natural wedding confetti for the 'rice toss' and also as table scatters/confetti for the tables at weddings and dinner parties. I had a conversation with a bride the other day as she was looking for something very specific for her special day - this got me thinking of all the different options of petals we have for wedding confetti depending on the look and feel you are going for.
There's the traditional rose petals:
- Dried pink rose petals for a soft elegant feel.
- Mixed coloured rose petals, these are great if you want a bit of colour with their whites, yellows, pinks, purples and reds.
- Dark red rose (almost black) option - A great choice if you wanting that darker element - going with a black and white theme or just want something a little edgy.
Then there's the popular petal mix:
We have tested these to make sure that the daisy flower heads in there are not going to feel like you got donked on the head as they are light when dried. This mix is bright and colourful with a mix of different petals. See our petal mix here
If you are wanting a more traditional rice style confetti but in a natural flower, there's the Jasmine flower buds, these are super light and very elegant. They do not have a scent and are cream coloured with a little green.
Or if you are looking for a sweet smelling confetti then lavender may be an option for you, they are about the size of a grain of rice and have the most amazing smell.
There you have it a range of different options for your wedding confetti. These can also be used for table confetti or cake decorating (except the petal mix, this has hydrangea petals and is not suitable to be used with food).
